GEG Supports Caritas Macau at Annual Charity Bazaar

November 20, 2017 – Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) attaches great value to supporting local and international charitable organizations on an ongoing basis. This year, GEG donated MOP200,000 to support Caritas Macau at its annual charity bazaar, marking the seventh year of cooperation between the two organizations. In addition, GEG volunteers set up a game booth at the fundraising event, all revenue raised from the booth will be donated to Caritas Macau.
The annual Caritas Macau Charity Bazaar was held over two days at the Nam Van Lake Nautical Centre. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Trevor Martin, Director of Human Resources and Administration of GEG, presented the MOP200,000 cheque to Mr. Pun Chi Meng, Secretary General of Caritas Macau. The donation will be used to support Caritas Macau’s charitable work and social services. At the GEG game booth, 40 GEG team members prepared fun-filled games with fabulous prizes for the charity. “It’s great I can contribute my part to this meaningful event and have fun at the same time. I will encourage my colleagues to be volunteers to make a contribution to the community,” said GEG volunteer Mr. Ranball Lo.
As a responsible corporate citizen, GEG works closely with various social service and charitable organizations. In response to the destruction from Typhoon Hato, GEG supported more than 20 non-profit and social service organizations, including Caritas Macau, in aid of recovery efforts in Macau. GEG will continue to extend a helping hand to various charitable organizations to spread love and care for the underprivileged.
